Özet (EN)

This study are made in order to show the ecological differences of some woody taxa which are naturally growth in Macchie and Pseudomacchie vegetation in Turkey. The wood samples were gathered from Trabzon (14-347 m) and Antalya (454-842 m). The anatomical features, vessels (tangential and radial diameter, length of vessel elements, number of vessels per mm2 ), fiber (length of fiber, width of fiber, width of lumen, fiber wall thickness), ray (number of ray per mm, length and width of ray) and axial parenchyma were determined. Variation which is occurred between taxa were determined at the level of species, ecological parametres ?Mesomorphy? indice and ?Vulnerability? were calculated. Differences between of vegetation types were determined from obtained data, all this results were presented with statistical analysis. With obtained data, it was seemed that mesomorphy, vulnerability, tangential and radial diameter of vessels, length of vessel elements and fiber had higher rates in Pseudomacchie vegetation while density of vessel per mm2 and number of ray per mm were higher in Macchie vegetation than Pseudomacchie vegetation. As a result of statistics analysis, it was introduced that number of vessels per mm2 , number of ray per mm, vulnerability, mesomorphy, length of vessel elements, width and length of multiseriate ray, length of fiber were highly affected and width of uniseriate ray, fiber wall thickness were affected in minimum level by ecological conditions.Key Words: Ecological Wood Anatomy, Macchie Vegetation and Pseudomacchie Vegetation
