Özet (EN)

Before the proclamation of republic in Gaziantep, Armenians had practiced almost all the professions with high returns. Turkish greed from Antep was doing low jobs and was kept away from the profession. The Turks, who stayed in the city, after the Antep War, knew that they had to reconstruct a city that was turned into a ruin and make it a livable place. The war had just ended, but the longer economic war was just beginning. With the power given by the helplessness in the War of Antep, the people of Antep, who defeated the enemy, were fighting for the development of a country on their own. Poorness is the most important element in this economical war. While the number of people specialized in the city was almost nonexistent, those who understood any work had the knowledge and skills of either apprentice or journeyman level. With the holy struggle of this generation, the wounds of war were wounded, the city was reconstructed and they succeeded in taking the industrial steps that no community could do. During the half-century period between 1923-1973, primary and secondary sources were scanned and many inventions and successes were tried to be explained.
