Abstract (EN)

The synthesis of 6 new oxa containing schiff bases (d1-d6) from corresponding dialdehydes (c1-c6) and their 6 new diamine anologous (e1-e6) via the reduction by using NaBH4 were synthesized. Moreover, The synthesis of two different types of aza-oxa containing diamine ligands (L1–L2) and under dilution conditions [1 + 1] condensation reaction of these compounds with two varieties of acid chloride (pyridine-2,6-dicarbonyl dichloride or isophthaloyl chloride) were performed to synthesize new 12-membered macrocyclic amides (M1-M4). The structural feature of the compounds were studied by Mass, FT-IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies. The antimicrobial and antifungal activities of four cyclic amide (M1–M4) were analyzed by using the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) dilution method, against several bacteria and yeast cultures. Results are compared with commercial antibiotics and antifungal agents. Besides, permeability of cyclic amide (M1) against to Na+ and K+ ions were investigated.
