The evaluation of the application of the hidden cirriculum depending on the ideas of the 7th grade primary school students receiving education in state schools in the centre county of Malatya

Hidden cirriculum contains the stuations in which students are not informed explicitly either intentionally or unintentionally in teaching and education situation.In this research, it is aimed to make it clear by analysing the behaviours and relations of the physical education teachers with the students either in school or out of the school, it is thought important that analysing of basic cognitives in terms of more effective teaching and education applications.The research populaiton contains 72.571 students and 153 primary schools in Malatya. The sample of the research contains 20 primary state schools and 500 students attending 7th grade. In the choice of sample group, `?simple casual sample technic?? was used.The survey has been conducted in order to find the effect of the physical education teachers hidden behaviours on students behaviours in the survey, the students have been questioned implicitly about `?obeying the rules, being punctual, wearing proper uniforms, being democratic, being neat, taking responsibility, being cooperate, paying attention to national and social values.?? The analysis of the received data has been done by using the SPSS 17.00 statistic program.In the result of the research, it is found that the behaviours of physical education teachers out of the hidden cirriculum in school or out of the school affect the students behaviours such as `?obeying the rules, being punctual, wearing proper uniforms, being democratic, being neat, taking responsibility, being cooperate, paying attention to national and social values.??Great majority of the physical aeducation teachers like the students who are obedient and quiet students in the class. That the teachers shawing the students who are obedient and quiet in the class as a model gives the message that `?you should be quiet and obedient in the class.??Most of the pysical education teachers tolerate the objections of the student in the exams. By these toleranse, teachers gives the message like `?being fair?? and `?I care you.??Generally, physical education teachers give fair marks by not making any discrimination between sporty and non- sporty students. By this behaviours physical education teachers gives the implicit message that `?I treat fairly?? which acquire the students `?being fair and equal.??Physical education teachers non- offical activities and hidden behaviours gives the message that `?I care you and I value you.?? Besides that, respecting for independence anthem provide the students with the message the `?We should listen to the independence anthem and we should tell it properly.??While some of physical education teachers punishes the students who are late by making then some activities or making them absent, which gives the implicit message tat `?being punctual??, some other physical education teachers do nothing for those students that gives the message that `?it isn?t impotant to be punctual.??By rewarding the successful students, physical education teachers gives the message that `?you need to be successful too.?? This message provide the students with being successful, becides, it also gives the message that `?competition?? which is contrary to the official curriculum.Most of the physical education teachers repeats the subject without showing any harsh or heartbreaking atitude. Thus, the teacher gives the message `?I care you??.Great mejority of physical education teachers never consumes drinks or foods during the lesson. So, by this attitude the teacher implicitly gives the message that `?I care my lesson and you.??Great majority of physical aducation teachers frequently uses the expressions such as `?please, thank you, you are welcome.?? So, these expressions gives the message that `?I care and value you.??Physical education teachers don?t make any implicite sexual discrimination by making male and female students do the same activities.Most of the physical education teacher don?t form a play ground or a pitch. This situation gives the message to the student that physical education teachers don?t pay attention to the spaces related to the lesson or forming the sites in the school garder.KEY WORDS: Physical Education Teacher, Official Curriculum, Hidden Curriculum
