Özet (EN)

Malatya is subsidance or plaine as a tectonic Bent System on Southeast Taurusat upper Fırat Region of East Anatolia. Malatya is one of the most important agriculturearea of Turkey, with social and economical activity that placed pre-historical seasonsago.As a conclusion, when we look at the map showing the correct horizantalpositions of features represented, the elavation that is under 750 meter is seen mostlyconcentrated in the eastern part of Malatya province. Following this part, the elevationbetween 750 and 1500 meters, sorrounding 750 meter part, extends to dam areas foundbetween 1000 meter and 1250 meters generally cover a high rate of distribution in theinner parts like plains and plateaus. Those which are plateaus and mountains parts are1250 and 1500 meters scattered mostly western, southern and northern parts ofprovince. Those compose mountain areas between 1500 and 1750 meters in the northernand southern parts where elevation goes up, those which are over 1750 meter aremountain areas as a whole and form independent closed zones from each other.When we examine this investigation region we can see over 1500 meter are usedas dry farming area, grossland, forest area and rocky places. The elevation between1000 and 1500 meter are used as dry farming area, vineyard and garden. The elevationunder 1000 meter are used as with agricultural regions and residance places.
