Abstract (EN)

The zooplankton of Maryap, Kaldırım and Halikan Ponds were determined between March 2012-February 2013. Some chemical and physical parameters as water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen were also measured in situ, monthly. Total of 90 zooplankton species; 71 Rotifera, 13 Cladocera, 6 Copepoda species were identified in three ponds. The datas of this study were evaluated number of individuals, frequency of occurence, species richness, similarity index. As a result of Shannon Wiener index analysis of Maryap Pond, species richness was found highest in april (H'=1,96) and the least index value was found in september (H'=0,94). Shannon Wiener index analysis of Kaldırım Pond was found highest in june (H'=2,00) and the least index value was found in september (H'=0,56). Shannon Wiener index analysis of Halikan Pond was found highest in april (H'=1,51) and the least index value was found in march (H'=0,63). According to Margalef index analysis of Maryap Pond, species richness was found highest in april (D=4,01) and the least value was found in january (D=1,07). Margalef index analysis of Kaldırım, species richness was found highest in may (D=2,90) and the least value was found in september (D=0,40). Margalef index analysis of Halikan Pond, species rihness was found highest in april (D=2,79) and the least value was found in february (D=0,58). The Sorenson Similarity index was found highest with 67% between Maryap and Kaldırım Ponds and lowest value was found with 63% between Maryap and Halikan Ponds. Among all zooplankton Rotifera was represented with Rotifera 79%, Cladocera 15% and Copepoda 6%. Photos of some of zooplankton species were taken with Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and a computerized microscope system Clemex Image Analyser.
