Determining suitable areas for golf courses between Manavgat and Alanya

In this study, Tourism based on golf sport becomes more important in recent years. Our country has an importatnt potential in terms of golf tourism for reason of suitable climate conditions of Mediterrenean coastal side. Antalya has a special space in this potential both tourism diversification and tourism incomes increases for golf courses are encouraged.The aim of this study is to research potential areas that will be golf course whole year in the direction of about 40 five star hotel at the Manavgat-Alanya coastal side. In this study, it is aimed at determining appropriate areas for golf courses especially by considering space selection criteria for golf course and standing in the forefront natural and socioeconomic structure of the area. Appropriate areas are on upper side Manavgat, Oymapınar, Kızılot and Okurcalar and discursively of İncekum, Payallar and Türkler. According to the result of the study, there are same number golf courses parallel to the hotel numbers at between Manavgat-Alanya.
