Abstract (EN)

Miniplaque surgery is one of the common use of mandibular fractures. It must be known the limit values of biomaterial that can carry out before the application of plate-fixation for fractures of the mandible bone. Plate and fixation should respond any effects that include the chin reaches the maximum force. Plates and fixators should be biocompatible and also they are able to carry loads applied to the region's needs. Investigations necessary to determine and record the geometry of the material to be used prior to surgery. In this study, Computerized Tomography (CT) images in a three-dimensional model of mandibular sagittal split osteotomy and fracture in angulus was created. For both fracture model, miniplates and fixator were designed with different biocompatible materials ( Titanium6, Aluminnum4, Vanadium, Cobalt Chrome, Stainless Steel ) and they were formed as 3 different geometries and stress analysis was performed. The load carrying capacities were compared Using ANSYS finite element analysis program.
