Özet (EN)
This research aims to examine whether the relationship between smartphone, Internet addiction and Physical Activity levels of Manisa Celal Bayar University students differ in terms of some demographic variables (age, gender, faculty, etc.). The study group of the research; The 2018-2019 academic year consists of 868 university students who continue their education activities in Manisa Celal Bayar University's Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Sport Sciences and School of Applied Sciences. In the research, "Personal Information Form", "Smartphone Addiction Scale (ATBI)", "Internet Addiction Scale (IAD)" and "International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IAFAA)" were applied to the participants. For parametrically distributed data, Independent Sample T-Test and ANOVA test were used to detect differences in demographic variables. The LSD test, one of the Post-hoc tests, was used to determine between which groups the statistical difference between the groups was. Pearson Correlation test was used to determine the relationship between the scales. Correlation analysis was applied to determine the relationship between UAFAA-SF and ABI-SF and IAD. According to the results of the analysis, there was a low and negative correlation between UAFAA-SF and ABI-SF (r= -0.075; p<0.05) and IAS (r= -0.076; p<0.05). There is a moderate and positive relationship between IAQ (r= 0.660; p<0.05), the total scores of IAQ and UAFAA-SF are higher in male participants, participants who spend their free time outside the campus have higher ATBÖ-SF scores, they are members of a sports club. Participants who are in the "very bad" and "very good" groups according to the income level variable have higher UAFAA-SF scores, the total average scores of UAFAA-SF were higher, the UAFAA-SF scores of the participants living in dormitories were lower, and It was concluded that the participants with a weekly free time period of "1-5 hours" had higher ABI-SF scores. As a result, it has been seen that individuals who do physical activity have a positive effect on smartphone addiction, and at the same time, as the level of smartphone addiction increases, the level of internet addiction also increases. Increasing the variety and content of physical activity activities is thought to be important in reducing the addiction risk of university students.
