Abstract (EN)

Scientific and technological developments cause changes in social needs and the emergence of new professions. Developments and changes also affect the education process and force education to develop and change. With the developments in computer and internet technologies, coding lessons have started to be given in educational institutions, and it appears as an element that increases the competitiveness of educational institutions. Although the basis of coding education is logic, it is only included in the 9th grade mathematics curriculum of secondary education. The aim of this research is to determine the success of the students who receive logic and coding education. In this context, a Logic Achievement Test was developed in accordance with the achievements in the Mathematics curriculum. The research was designed in the scanning model and the sample was selected according to the purposeful sampling pattern. As a result of the research, it was determined that the 9th grade students who took coding education got higher scores from the Logic Achievement test.
