Abstract (EN)
In the thesis, the relation between mathematics and logic is dealed with by beginnig from the definition of logic and its short history. Syllogism and reasoning principles which constitute the basic of Aristoteles? logical understanding, who is accepted as the founder of the systematical logic, and its phases in history of philosophical thought have shown us the similarities of logic and mathematics as a method.Syllogisms of classical logic are the best examples of deductive reasoning. Syllogisms are not forms of language, they are forms of thought. Deductive reasoning is called obligatory deduction of correct universals or reasoning from universal premisses or premisses. In this situation, deductive reasoning is a thinking style which goes deduction or induction from idea to perception in common.Basic of the mathematical deduction is based on confirmation. Confirmation shows that the one which is going to be confirmed is obligatory conclused from the one which was confirmed in advance. By this way, mathematical deduction which resembles logical deduction makes a generalization in conclusion. In thesis, we dealed with the similarities and contrarieties of these two reasoning. Evaluating the criticism that the logic which is related with syllogism doesn?t give any new information, the deductive logic?s relation with mathematical reasoning is put forward.Key Words1. Deduction2. Induction3. Logic4. Mathematic5. Inference
