Abstract (EN)
Most of the recent studies on internal combustion engines are to increase the fuel economy and to decrease the amount of exhaust emissions. Although many companies and research associations are able to design new product in this field, most of these products are result of insufficient research. These products are sold in the market with slogans like "clean air" and "developing fuel economy". One of the presentations emphasise on fuel conditioning through magnetic fields. In this study, An evaluation is carried out based on the working principles of the existing products. In this method fuel is conditioned using magnets which are placed on the fuel line connecting to the carburettor before. These equipments are called "Magnetic Conditioner" or "Magnetic Fuel Regulator". The tests were done as comparative assembling the magnets before the carburettor in a single cylinder gasoline engine. Being sure of the magnetic effect on gasoline, the magnets were tried in different positions and taking into consideration the contact time between the gasoline and the magnetic field, the results were obtained. The main goal of our research is to contribute to a field with insufficient research and to provide new possibilities. Although the effect provided is not clear according to our results, taking into consideration the conditions we tested, new approaches can be possible.
