Abstract (EN)

In this study, novel magnetically recyclable Mn nanocatalysts have been synthesized with magnetic nanoparticles and various Schiff bases. Nanoparticles of magnetic Fe3O4 were first synthesized. Then a solid support was synthesized with dopamine hydrochloride and Schiff base ligands were synthesized. Finally, Mn metal complexes were synthesized using Mn(II)acetate. These catalysts were characterized by FT-IR (fourier transformer infrared spectroscopy) and X-Ray diffraction. The prepared magnetic nanocatalysts were tested as catalysts in epoxidation reactions. The prepared novel magnetic nanocatalysts showed high activity and selectivity as in a homogeneous system. It was also well dispersed in solution. The catalyst was easily separable.
