Abstract (EN)
Three dimensional modelling is used in many fields such as medicine, civil engineering, buildfairs, turism and design. Recent developments in information technology encourage computerusing in medicine and provide new chances and user friendly tools. Without any surgeryoperations, internal organs can be modeled and doctors can study with virtual models. All ofthese developments minimize surgery mistakes and provide high quality. Medicine is aboutpeople health and lives, so these are veriy important developments for humanity.There are very methods for three dimensional modelling. One of these is voxel-basedmethods. Voxel-based methods provide good solutions for the objects which have not definiteedges and have important aknowledge in their volumes. The most important disadvantage ofvoxel-based methods is registration. Voxels present volumetric data. They have not onlyvertices and surfaces, but also have very important knowledge in their volumes. But thisincrease the data which must be recorded. In this thesis, a new method is introduced foravoiding the disadvantages.Provide a very realy model of internal organs is not enough for medicine. Doctors shouldmake signs on the model, transport the model in three dimensional enviroment and rotate themodel. For these reason, model viewed in two dimensional enviroment for doctor tomaterialize some operations. Diagnises transported to thre dimensional enviroment andprovide better views of organs.In these thesis, a brain model was constructed by using brain MR images.
