Abstract (EN)
This study consists of five folk stories written in verse, which are estimated to be written in the 15th century. None of the stories has a writer?s name. The written copy of the stories are currently found in registered in number Turc. 9/4 in George-August University Library, in Göttingen, Germany. This writing, kept as a journal, includes five stories respectively: Kitab-ı Muhammed Hanifi, Kitab-ı Cafer-i Dayyar, Kitab-ı Kesük Baş, Kitab-ı Cümcüme-i Sultani, Dasitan-ı İbrahim Mahluk. The work has been written in naskhs with vowel points and consists of 42 leaves with the size of 20x15 cms. The stories whose beginning goes up to the 14th century have pervaded and been appreciated among the society.The stories have quite rich content with regard to conveying the colloquial language with sheer Turkish and reflecting the lexicology and language features of the time.The study consists of three parts; language features, texts, and index. The first part starts with general information about folk stories in verse. Afterwards, these stories found in the text have been introduced and informed about their content.Language analysis is grammar based on orthography, morphology and phonology, except for syntax. In the orthography part, editorial features of the text have been explained; the similarities and differences between the spelling of the words have been analyzed.Under the title of phonology, sound events, changes, and vowel harmony have been explained.In morphology part, structures different from Turkey Turkish and differing situations have been exemplified.In the text part, includes the translated version of the text with transcription.In the index part, words in the text have been handled per item and explained according to their usage. The places and numbers of the verses have been indicatedfor each meaning. A complete grammatical index has been formed for the origins of the words explained in the text.
