Abstract (EN)
In this study, the impact of math-themed storybooks on the attitudes of fifth-grade students towards mathematics lesson was investigated. During 2022-2023 academic year, 11 fifth-grade students from a public school in Mudurnu/Bolu participated in the study. The researchers desinged two semi-structured interview for data generation process. The interviews consisted of two phases: pre- and post-interviews. Content analysis was used for data analysis. The results of this study show that students who discovered the enjoyment of mathematics in math-themed storybooks increased their interest in mathematics and developed a positive attitude towards mathematics.
