Özet (EN)

In this research it was aimed that what kind of roles the teachers have while implementing tasks and the teachers roles affect the students roles in the tasks. Besides these it was analysed that how these roles affect the implementation of the tasks. This research was applied in a qualitative research method and it was designed as a case study In this study classroom mathematics teachers? lesson-video records and their lesson plans were examined. Analysis and findings indicate that the roles of learners and teachers in the process of implementing tasks are determined by different dynamics and understanding this process is very important for the success of the implementation. In this research it is seen that there are different factors that affect the teachers roles. These roles are interactions in the process of implementing tasks, the nature of the tasks, the teacher?s orientation (or pedagogical approach) and how to use the time for the task. The roles of learners and teachers appear in the process of implementing the tasks and they affect the implementation thoroughly. Determining the roles that can participate the students to the process is very important for implementing the tasks successfully.
