Abstract (EN)
Of the two great Imams, Mâturidî is another one along with Es'ari who systematized Kelâm belief of Ehli Sunnah. Mâturidî's book of Kitabu't-Tevhid is one of the two of his books which has remained up to the present time. The Uzbek region where Mâturidî lived was ruled by Samanis. The people of Samani prepared the ground for the men of knowledge, showing care in both knowledge and the men disseminating it.There is not one overall principle for all of the sciences. The methodology of Kelâm has its own principles as well as others do. During the shaping process of his ideas, Mâturidî's Kelâm methods had been affected by some beliefs of his time such as Mutazilah, Ashabu'l hadis and Shia.Mâturidî was the first orator who systematized knowledge. We can see him mentioning the sources of knowledge at the very beginning of his book. Mâturidî, who strzictly rejects imitating, had claimed that the trzuth could only be revealed by evidence. He explains the importance of news (the certain knowledge), sensorial organs and logic in order to reach the evidences on many pages in his book. He had also seen logic as being an instrzument to reach knowledge, and used a lot of intellectual methods, such as induction-deduction and interpretation method. He had been able to reach wide range of communities with his mild attitudes and showing big tolerance. Mâturidî accredited logic along with narrating when these cover the logic wholly, whereas Esari's followers was predicated on relaying news (narrating) ? knowledge- but supporting it with logic. Mâturidî was seen as being close to the belief of Mu'tazilah and eventually criticized by some scholars on account of his accrediting logic. However, he had never ignored narrating whilst behaving logically for some subjects. He often mentions the narrators in his book when studying Kelâm subjects.Key words: Ehli Sunnah, Mâturidî's Kelâm Methods, Kitâbu?t-Tevhid, Evidence.
