Abstract (EN)

Max Horkheimer and Theodor W. Adorno, in 20 century,underthe concept of critical theory, aimed to develop a wide range of social criticism . Critical theory, claims that it works with a system based on domination of the social order in our age and on the basis of this negativity, there is a false philosophical consciousness loaded in mind. As a result of this false consciousness, modern social structure, has become the structure of the individual is cleared away. This negative structure shows itself it shows itself in scientific thought, the Enlightenment concept and particularly cultural commodities and all of the culturel field.In this sense, concept of culture industry is the most important concepo for critical theory. This concept is used to describe the domination of the cultural field. According to this understanding, the domination of the cultural field, the last link of social domination. With the culture industry, social domination is complete and there is no room for individuals to escape.According to critical theory, art is a way to eliminate domination. Art, using elements of creativity, can design is an alternative social structure. It, to achieve this, requires a true philosophical consciousness. These philosophical consciousness, the nature of the relationship between society as a whole on its elements. At this point, art, should not forget that not only itself a social phenomenon but also has the potential to design a new social order. So, art, to get rid of domination, could be driven by the potential that exists in society.
