Abstract (EN)
Automation of micropropagation processes via design of new bioreactor systems is very important for commercialization and reducing of production cost. In this study, two new type bioreactors are designed for micropropagation of Maxma 14 Delbard® Brokforest (Prunus mahaleb x Prunus avium) sweet cherry rootstocks. These reactors are temporary immersion bioreactor with shelves and temporary sprinkling bioreactor with shelves. We have compared MS (Murashige and Skoog, 1962) and WPM (Lloyd & McCown, 1980) medium which include BAP (6-Benzylaminopurine), IBA (Indole-3-butyric acid) ve NAA (1-Naphthaleneacetic acid) with different concentration with commercial multiplication medium of Algen Tarım ve Gıda San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. We have provided the highest healthy shoot rate (%100) in the commercial multiplication medium, because of this we have used this medium without agar as liquid medium for bioreactors. We have propagated shoots in bioreactors and then we have rooted and made acclimatization successfully. In the temporary immersion bioreactor with shelves, we have provide 5.03 multiplication rate and 73.12% rooting and acclimatization efficiency. In the temporary sprinkling bioreactor with shelves, we have provided 7.29 multiplication rate and 93.22% rooting and acclimatization efficiency.
