Mecmû'a-ı Makâmât Be-Kavl-i Mûsikiyyât, Konya Mevlânâ Museum Library Turkish Manuscript Collection, Number: 2193 (Examination-MESTAP table-comparative text)

Lyric collections are significant written sources not only for classical Turkish music but also for Turkish literature. Based on lyric collections, to be documented during the period when the collection was compiled. Many of these works have been valued not only musically but also literary perspective. Some collections are significant and considered valuable due to being to palace-state officials. This study consists of the text transcribed into Latin letters from the lyric collection titled "Mecmû‟a-ı Makâmât Be-Kavl-i Mûsikiyyât" registered of number 2193 in the Turkish Manuscripts Collection of Konya Mevlânâ Museum Library, and the analysis of the work. This collection, which forms the subject of the study, is significant because it contains the works of composers known to have participated in the sultan's music sessions. Additionally, it has been determined that the collection includes works by many Mevlevi poets and composers, including Sultan Selim III, who is known to have been a Mevlevi. After addressing the purpose, subject, and method of the study in the 'Introduction' section, the mentioned collection is introduced, and information is provided about the history of music and the platforms where music was practiced during the period when the collection was compiled in "Music and Lyric Magazines" section. Examples from other compiled lyric collections are given. Besides, in the introduction, information is provided about the lyrics in the collection, as well as their composers and lyricists, with numerical data obtained from this information presented in graphs. Subsequently, the differences between the collection and the other studies used for comparison are shown through footnotes. The findings and information obtained from the examination of the collection are stated in the 'Conclusion' section. In the collection, there are 903 lyrics composed in 68 different maqams and 26 different rhythms. Among these lyrics, 829 are in Turkish, 62 in Persian, 5 in Persian-Turkish, 1 in Arabic - Turkish, and 6 in Arabic. Only the Turkish lyrics and only Turkish parts of mixed languaged lyrics were included in the analysis, and the statistical tables were prepared accordingly. The poet of 302 lyrics in the collection has been identified. The composer of 104 lyrics is not specified.
