Abstract (EN)

This study, which deals with the transition process of a society from the age of ignorance to the age of bliss in the same century, and the effect of the Madani verses on this transition process, consists of three parts. In the first part, the conceptual analysis of morality has been made, the areas related to morality have been specified and information has been given about the geography of Medina, where the Islamic society was formed, before the migration. In the second and third chapters, the moral principles that are commanded and prohibited in the Madani verses are discussed together with their counterparts in the jahiliyyah and Meccan verses. The change of moral concept perception in the mind of a society is explained using the semantic method. In these sections, the moral principles that were emphasized for the first time in the Madani verses are also stated. Moral principles are repeatedly emphasized in both Makki and Madani verses. However, the remarkable point in this regard is that the moral principles in the Madani verses are handled in a broader sense of social life compared to the Makki verses. In addition, while the moral principles in the Makki verses are generally in the nature of advice for individual life, the moral principles mentioned in the Madani verses are the rules of social order and state laws that revive a society.
