Abstract (EN)
In the field of orthopedics treatment of extremity deformities can be realized by means of external fixators. But control of this biomedical system is very difficult. A mathematical model has been developed to improve quality of this service. Most of the parameters which are used in this theory have been obtained from two orthogonal medical images; one from Antero-Posterior, AP, direction and the other from lateral, L, direction. The quality of the results of this theory is dependent on the accuracy of the input parameters. Measuring these parameters takes a lot of time and accuracy of the results are low. The aim of this study is to prepare a software to make these measurements automatically and faster, to increase the accuracy of the results and thereby contrubuting to the improved accuracy of the calculations associated with the mathematical model.
