Abstract (EN)
Today, traditional signage methods using published materials such as posters, papers, boards still keep effect at the present time. As a result of being favored of these materials, the costs including printing, ink, paper and labor force inputs increase. Digital signages are defined as cost-effective dynamic tools, providing communication through digital context such as voice, graphics, text for the purpose of creating and encouraging change in the behavior of people and society as well as informing them. This research is examined and overview of the definitions and the types of the signages; in order to be performed a comparision between traditional and digital signages and to be demonstrated the positive and negative aspects to each other. The causes and effects of transition process from traditional to digital channels are attempted to enlighten examining comparative results. To what extend, digital communication tools can be effective in educational institutions and which effects support wich factors are revealed with the help of examples. Media players are provided with configuration for low cost using Content Management Software (CMS) again having open-source licences and existing hardware.
