Mehmet Celal's novels and populer novel tradition

In "Mehmet Celal's Novels and Popüler Novel Tradition" (keywords) named study, Mehmed Celal's 19 novels were searched/examined with perspective of popüler literatür comprehension. The writer qf these novels is one of the "Intermission Generation" writers group. In Celal's novels there is no aesthetics aim but there is compassion feelings and motivation of them. Therefare, talked about novels became first examples of popüler novel comprehension. Mentioned novels are Venüs, Cemile, Dehşet Yahut Üç Mezar, Orora, Margerit, Elvah-ı Sevda, Muhabbet-i Maderane, Küçük Gelin, Bir Kadının Hayatı, Zehra, Rene, Mükafat, Bivefa, Müzeyyen. Dâmen-âlûde, İsyan, Kuşditinde, Nedamet Yahut Bir Sairim Sernüvişti, Lem'an. It must be said that, at this period readers' directed their attention to these novels intensely. In the first part of this study, theme and structure features of novels were examined and evaluaeted one by one. This is an analysis study and qualities of novels were exposed comparatively. Mentioned goals were realized with using a standart pattern included publication adventure of novel, formal organization and aim, topic, knitting of events, quality of explanation and viewpoint, usage of time and space elements and also definition of charecters of novels. In second part, using above mentioned pattern some general technical features were defined.In third part,common features of novels were defined within popular literature comprehension as theme. In fourth and last part,according to the teoric point of view about topic and displayed attitude of Mehmrt Celal, writers' novel comprehension was defined as much as possible can be done. XI
