Mehmet Çınarlı`s writings on arts and literature

is one of the founders and the most important writers of the journal of Hisar. He has a lot of writings and poems published in Hisar and other journals. He has also produced books in prose and verse. Çınarlı, in a sense, appears to be the spokesman of the writers of Hisar. In his writings, he has defended the view that Turkish poetry and are to be renewed without losing it's ties to its origins and roots. In our study, we have collected his writings on arts and literature which have appeared in a variety of arts journals, especially in Hisar. We have also included a list of his works, his biography and his writings appearing in the journals. We do hope that this study will be of grest use to those who may or will, study on Mehmet Çınarlı.
