THE INTERNET BASED CONTROL FOR MECHATRONIC SYSTEM AND THE CARTESIAN ROBOT APPLICATION SUMMARY Keywords: Virtual laboratory, e - laboratory, technical education, internet based education, distance learning The balance of education - workforce - employment has been last because of rapid grow of population. To attach importance the technical education has been proposed for the solution of the employment problem. However the technical education requires high cost equipment and these equipments need to update in short time because of rapid technological change. This case causes problems for the developing countries such as our country that has insufficient income. Also, the Internet Based Technical Education needs an application area that can be used with remote - controlled. Therefore, researchers have intended to investigate on the Web- Based Virtual Laboratory. This project intends a plot Internet - Based Laboratory which was setup for the solution of the problems. The architectural configuration of Internet - Based System is modular and it consists of server, laboratory and simulation modules. The laboratory module consists of real systems which have suitable characteristics for Internet Based Control in Education. The laboratory can be used and monitor from every where by Internet. There are available practical examples prepared for this reason. The users can operate and monitor these examples. Also, If they desire, they design new practices. The users can watch simulations of which operate simultaneously with laboratory examples. The simulation module consists of sub-modules which represent a different subject. So, a lot of practices which can't place laboratory but are necessary for technical education can be realized by these modules in virtually. This modular pilot study is convenient for expanding and developing. When this study is accepted a model, a collective laboratory for different branches of technical education can be setup. The aim of the study; The technical education are presented as a solution of employing problem in our country. However separated laboratory for every school isn't economic and so these laboratories can not be developed. Also, it is a problem how practical studies are realized for the web based techinacal education. Therefore, xvthe internet based virtual laboratory is considered in this study so that the solutions of the problems can be found. Content; The study consist of five chapters, The first chapter is introduction, the second chapter is literature, the third chapter is mechatronic systems and distance learning, the fourth chapter is the setup of Internet Based Mechatronic Laboratory and there is an application at the fifth chapter. Method; The base of the study is that laboratory practices can be realized from far distance. Therefore, the web and the Internet Network were selected as the best tool so that it can provide communication and interaction considering our country conditions the laboratory was designed into a suitable form for this communication. As a result: The need of laboratory of the technical education can be provided economically and in short time therefore consumption ratio and the risk of working accident can be reduced and a flexible working environment can be presented.
