Fort his purpose, in the fist part of the study, information is given about the author's personal and literary life and the author's perspective on women is emphasized. In the second part of the thesis, the female characters included in the author's stories and novels, which are the main subject of the study, are examined. These characters are categorized under five different headings: according to their working status (working women), according to their education level (educated women), young women (young girls), women who are housewiwes, and foreign women. As a result of the result obtained, the author's perspective on women in the periodhe lived in and the female model he included in his works were not seen to be too far apart. Apart from this, another fature identified is that the female characters mentioned in his stories, especially young girls and housewives, are treated in parallel with the phenomenon of marriage. The female pratogonist of almost every story was evaluated within the framework of the institution of marriage, which was accepted by socety of that period and considered a sociologically important phenomenon. Another result obtained from the study is that there are foreign women among the categorized women groups, young women are mostly featured in the stories, some women are victims because they are cheated on by their husbands, and some are deadly types. It has been concluded that the phenomenon of marriage is mostly reflected in the stories through housewives who are married to young women. Another point that draws attention is the names the author gave to the female characters in his works. Most women's names were used more than once in different stories, and the author did not vary much in terms of names.
