Özet (EN)

Aim: To determine the validity and reliability of the Turkish form of the ISFS, which was developed to evaluate sexual function in women with breast cancer. Material and Method: This study included women who presented to the Medical Oncology Outpatient Clinic of Gaziantep University Şahinbey Oncology Hospital for follow-up or outpatient treatment after breast cancer treatment. The participants were administered the "Personal Information and Medical History Form," and the subscales of the ISFS, namely the BRSC, the SBRDF and the BCS-FSFI. In the statistical analysis, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, EFA, CFA, reliability, and test-retest analyses were used. Results: In this study, language and field expert opinions were used to determine the content validity levels of the measurement tools. According to expert opinions, the CVIs were determined as 0.983 for the BRSC, 0.900 for the SBRDF and 0.993 for the BCS-FSFI. KMO and Bartlett sphericity tests for the subscales were found to be significant. Cronbach's α coefficients were obtained at a high reliability level. Test-retest reliability was found to be excellent. As a result of CFA, the fit indices for each scale were obtained at acceptable and good levels. In the Turkish adaptation, 6 items under a single factor were obtained in BRSC and SBRDF, while 12 items under two factors were obtained, namely "sexual desire" and "sexual response" in the BCS-FSFI. Conclusion: The ISFS is a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to assess sexual function in women with breast cancer in Turkish society. Keywords: Breast Cancer, Sexual Function, Scale, Validity and Reliability
