Abstract (EN)
This work, Menāķıb-ı Şeyħ İlāhį, is registered in Sivas Ziya Bey Manuscript Library under collection number 274. The language of the work is Turkish. It was written in Arabic script, in movable jalį nesih writing type. The work was written in the period when Ottoman Turkish was used. It contains the language features of Old Anatolian Turkish and the influence of Anatolian dialects. Transcribing Turkish texts in Arabic script, determining the period in which they were written and analysing their linguistic features are very valuable for our field. The transcribed translation text of Menāķıb-ı Şeyħ İlāhį, the grammatical features of the translated text and the index section consisting of the meaning of the words in it according to the context constitute the content of our study. In the original text we studied, page numbers were not used, but page numbers were given because the follow-up words were used. The work, which is the subject of this study, consists of 61 leaves and 11 lines. Key Words: Old Anatolian Turkish, Şeyh İlahi, Counsel
