Abstract (EN)

Marble worldwide requires heavy and dangerous activities to be carried out, be it the production of slabs, slabs and slabs at the factory for project production. Since there are too many pieces of marble from production, it is heavy for use, those that can be opened to products for use, such as forklifts, can cause problems in road muscles and systems. The correctness of the body and condition of the employees while they travel is important in the course of both work accidents and work accidents. OWAS (Ovako Working Posture Analysing System) is an observation-based working posture analysis method, which is used to determine the load on the musculoskeletal system of the employee and the bad postures caused by the system. It is widely used in many industries. The purpose of the method is to classify the postures and eliminate the disturbing situations for the employee. In this study, the physical activities that must be done in the marble cutting and processing process are grouped, the movements of the employees during these activities are examined, the correct and incorrect movements are classified and the correct movement and position suggestions for each activity are developed. Movements during the study were analyzed using the OWAS method. During the review, 61 postures in the marble processing production process were examined, and it was observed that 11 of them were in the first category, 30 in the iv second category, 13 in the third category and 7 in the fourth category. An improvement program has been prepared for 33% of the movements in the 3rd and 4th categories, and specific recommendations have been developed for each workpiece. As a result, it has been predicted that most of the activities carried out in marble factories are ergonomically appropriate, but some movements and postures may cause both work accidents and occupational diseases. It has been understood that the OWAS method can be used effectively in identifying these situations and reducing the risk. Keywords: Marble processing, Occupational health and safety, OWAS, Ergonomics.
