Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT Optimum productivity, profitability, high-quality production and rivalry is essential in marble process facilities like the whole sectors. The most important factors affecting the attainment to these targets of marble factories are the place of the facility, the dimensions of the facility, the specialities of machine-equipment of the facility and the structure of the production line. In the investigations made in various marble factories it is discovered that production line design and factory current outlines have the most important roles in a high-quality and economic production. For this reason, the basic subjects in the project work consist of determining the effective current outlines and establishing the technic specialities of the machines which will be used in the system. Moreover, the position of raw material sources which is effective in the choice of factory site, transportation convenience, distance to the settlements, climate conditions, the geotechnic characteristics of the building site of the factory, the national electricity point which TED AS permit, water and the way of water supply and capital position was taken up in this work separately. Besides of these factors in the profitability and being able to rival of the marble process facilities, the adequacy of the factory site, the way demand of the market, raw material sources and their economicality was seen effective. Especially the way of clean water supply which is a great problem for the marble factories and important for a good quality production was widely studied. Marble wastes which is pointed out from the environmental view in last years was mentioned in this stage. All machines and equipment used in marble factories were discussed with their advantages and disadvantages. In this discussion, basic machines in production and other equipment and systems helping the basic machines and affecting the production directlywere taken up together. In result, water, electricity and air pressure systems and conditions which can be the most productive from the technic and economic point of view in the factories were suggested. Technic characteristics of all known types of the machines forming the production lines in the project were investigated. In the result of these investigations made in its place about this issue machines and types of them and the using conditions related to the raw materials and market conditions and the numbers were determined. In this stage, the effects to a good-quality and economic production of machine models and their positions in the production were discussed with their results. After the appreciation of the subjects above, three different factory plans were studied on. Each examplar models were taken up first of all technically, the most appropriate factory model amongst them was brought ut with its reasons. The numerical analysis made under alike conditions also supported the suggested model is a practical plan technically, economically and from the good-quality point of view.
