Özet (EN)

Marble cutting tools used in natural stone cutting processes, and matrix composition of this tool is very important in terms of wear performance. Tools are consist of the metal matrix powder has a significant place in determining the quality. In this study, it was made marble cutters Fe-Cu-Sn with Co metal powders element matrices and their microstructure and mechanical properties and wear performance were investigated. It has been produced four different kinds of marble cutting matrix composition, by sintering at temperatures of 850 ° C under 35 MPa pressure for four minutes. Hardness measurements for produced samples, three-point bending tests and wear tests were performed. It was carried out microstructure examinations by means of optical microscopy, SEM and EDX techniques. At the end of the works, it was found the highest hardness in sample N4 which was added 20 % Co. We can say that, addition of the Co to the main matrix has been increased the hardness matrix. The addition of Co, has showed that, as a major impact on the bending strength by three point bending test. On the other hand, bending strength has increased, with the increased Co additions. On the contrary, for Co additions, decreases in stroke strain and wear resistance of matrix materials.
