This study aims to determine the exhaustion and depression levels of health care staff working in a day shift and those working in a 24-hour-shift. The another aim of the study is to make suggestions to employers and health staff in with regards to the data aguired from the study. The study's population comprises of the staff working in Batman State Hospital. The sampling of the study is composed of 304 health care staff who were selected with Simply Randomized Sampling Method. To determine stuff's personal datum, Soso-demographic Data Survey was applied. In the second phase, Maslach Burnout Inventory and in the third phase Beck Depression Inventory was used. The study is in scene pattern. Anova test and Independent T Test were used to analyze the data of soso-demographic variants. In order to determine the difference among the variations, Turkey HSD Test was used. The study concluded that the exhaustion levels of the staff working ın a day shift is more than those working 24-hour-shift.
