Abstract (EN)

The Masjid al-Nabawi, which was built by the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) himself, is not only a place where individual and social worship is performed, but a place where Islamic religion is taught and has an important role in the Muslims' political and cultural life. In addition, it is the first center in the formation of Islamic society. Since the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) and sahabas spend most of their daily life there, it is considered to be a place that hosts many important places. Both in the hadith sources and in the history books about the Madinah, which were written in different centuries, the narrations determining the location of the important places that are said to be located near the Masjid al-Nabawi. However no serious attempts have been made to determine the authenticity of these narrations. In order to eliminate this deficiency in the world of science, firstly these narrations have been gathered under certain headings in this study. Then, it was tried to determine the degree of authenticity according to the hadith acceptance criterias. As a result of the investigations, it was found out that these narrations were generally composed of authentic, hasen and weak narrations in the history books about Medina rather than the famous hadith sources.
