Abstract (EN)

Similie is to liken something to another that has more than one similarity. Similie, which includes comparison in it is an art in metaphor. With similie there should also be figure of speech. Similie (also named borrowing) happens while using one of the features such as semblable and to be semblabled. The aim of this study is to find out and analyze the similies and metaphors in the Ode of Mesîhî's Dîvân. After the research we have found 178 mufassal similie, 81 muekked similie, 40 mucmel similie, 461 belîğ similie according to the appearance of some elements of similie or not; according to vech-i şebeh (emulation channel) the degree of their qualities we found out 16 maklûb similie; 59 temsilî similie according to the features of vech-i şebeh (emulation channel), according to the semblables and to be semblables being one or more 16 melfûf similie, 11 mefrûk similie, 12 cem similie and 24 tesviye similie. According to the lexis being one or more we have found out 49 mutlak open metaphor, 51 mucerred open metaphor, 34 mureşşah open metaphor, 211 close metaphor and 7 bilayer metaphor.
