Abstract (EN)

In this study it was aimed to define the opinions of classroom guidance teachers and school psychological counselors working at vocational high schools about the guidance program. In addition, it was investigated whether the opinions of classroom guidance teachers vary according to their gender, branches or type of their schools. The population of the study consists of classroom guidance teachers and school psychological counselors who work in vocational high schools in Kırşehir. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 131 teachers; 8 school psychological counselors and 123 classroom guidance teachers who were chosen by purposeful sampling method. Data was gained by Secondary School Guidance and Counseling Program Questionnaire. Percentage, frequency and aritmetic means istatistics, t-test for independent groups and Kruskal-Wallis test techniques were used to analyze the data. According to the findings of the research, attainments of the program are clear enough to understand. It was found out that the content of the program was prepared in accordance with the needs of students but it does not help students mature enough to make academic and vocational choices. Besides, it was found that the do not direct students in their after school lives. It is clear how to evaluate the assessment instruments . Fınally, classroom guidance teachers' opinions about the guidance program do not vary according to their gender or branches while their opinions vary in accordance with the type of their schools.
