Research for determine level of using educational technologies from teachers working at program of office management and secretarial in vocational schools

Professor Dr. Ahmet TayfunJuly-2012The aim of this research is; determine level of using educational technologies from the teachers of office management and secreterial program of vocational schools.Application area of this research consists of Multi-Programmed High Schools, Mercantile Vocational Schools, Technical and Vocational High Schools for Girls which are serving in Ministry of Education area, in Istanbul. The teachers working in this schools is the universe of research.Reach into the whole universe includes some obstacles so in here sample was taken.In research, in order to explain the problem, questionnaire-based datas analyzed. These datas include answers from 258 teachers working in Office Management and Secreterial Programme.At research two scale used; first one is scale to determine the frequency of using educational technology prepared by Kaptan (2003) and second one is scale to determine attitudes of teachers to use educational technology prepared by Şahin (2000).Data analysis were made with SPSS 16.0 (Statistical Package fort he Social Sciences) Programme.At the end of this research a comparison was made between demographic features and level of use of educational technologies.As a result,the most important differentiation is seen into the factor of age. Teachers' thoughts that have been identified as follows; educational technology which is the used in provides efficient teaching,helps to achieve the objectives that have been specified.Key Words: Education, Technology, Educational Technology
