Abstract (EN)

In the research, the education activities in high schools office management and secretarial departments in the basis of total quality management, were evaluated by the lecturers in this department. In the research, consists of the lecturers in the office management and secretarial departments of high schools in 2006-2007 education term. During the research as it is not possible to contact with the whole lecturers, 74 of them have participated. The data from the questionaires has given as symbol table, and the lecturers? demographic data has exposed as frequency and percentage. With the help of Variance Analyze, T-test and cross-tables, it has checked if the lecturers have differences in their opinions or not. In the research meaningfullness level was accepted as 0.05%. At the end of the research; It has seen that most of the lecturers work in the office management and secretarial department of high schools were male (13.5%). In addition to that they have been about 30- 40 and have worked for 16 years or more. The applications of total quality management in the high schools that have Office Management and Secretarial Departments have begun to apply. It has determined that the lecturers believe that vision and mission of school and the department, and the school management consider the needs of internal and external customers. The roles and the responsibilities of all the participants in high school have been clear and they do their business given by the Quality Coordination Committee.
