The evaluation of supply conditions of sector's need for the office management and secretary education programs at vocational high schools

ABSTRACTToday, the rapid development in technology, transition into a soceity ofknowledge and understanding of modern administration have brought aboutalteration for office services which are the decision organs, and the planning oforganization. In this process of changing, the success of organizations in the realm ofoffice service is likely related to an efficent job flow due to present technology.In the course of training human resources having technological knowledgeand comprehension of modern administration,the significance of educationalinstitutions and the programs which gives secretarial education and officemanegement education, come onto stage .One of the educational institutions which gives office management andsecretarial training is a two year vocational office management and secretarialeducation program within the Vocational High Schools in Higher EducationalCouncil. The goal of these programmes is to train qualified people who will beemployed in the office services of the sector.Throughout the research, by searching the educational programmes andsubsutructure of office administration and secretarial programmes, it has beenstudied to evaluate the training and supply of humans required for he sector.The research consists of three parts; In the first one, it has been emphasizedon the secretarial itself and improvement of the secretarial. In the second part, it hasbeen given consideration to the education of secretarial, analyzing the secretarialtraining institutions and the need for secretarial services, and finally in the third part;it has been dealt with the place and the importance of secretarial in sector, thepresent situation of secretarial profession, whatsmore, the relationship between thesector and Vocational High Schools which give secretarial education.v
