Özet (EN)

Aim: The aim of this study is to determine the HPLP of the students of Vocational School of Health Services of Bingöl University. Material and Method: This is a cross-sectional and descriptive study. The study included 629 volunteers studying at Vocational School of Health Services. A questionnaire was applied by the researcher to collect the data. In statistical analysis of the data, arithmetic mean and standard deviation were calculated by using SPSS 22 package program. Number and percentage were used in the evaluation of categorical data. In the study of hypotheses, t test was used for two groups in independent groups. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used for multiple groups. p values of less than 0.05 were considered statistically significant. Results: Students score of health responsibility from subscales of healthy lifestyle behavior scale was 18,9±4,5, physical activity score was 15.7 ± 4.5, nutrition score was 18.8 ± 3.9, self-actualization score was 26.3 ± 4.6, interpersonal relationship score was 25.1 ± 4.6, stress management score was 18.9 ± 3.9 and the total score of HPLP was found to be 123.7 ± 19.3 points. Physical activity score was found to be lower in women. Nutrition, health responsibility, stress management and HPLP total score were found to be lower in the students living in house. Healthy life behaviors scores of those who expressed general health status as well were also found to be higher. Second-year students' HPLP scores were higher than first-year students. Conclusion: Individuals' physical activity score was lowest and HPLP total score was found to be moderate. The HPLP score was found to be lower in individuals living separately from their family. Individuals with good health status were found to have higher HPLP scores. We can conclude that students' education have made some changes in their healthy lifestyle behaviors.
