The affect of class mileu in workshops to the discipline problems in vocational schools

This observation was made to understand the effect of workshop conditions to the diciplineproblems according to the wiews of teachers. This observation was made according to theviews of 225 teachers who are working in Vocational High Schools in Anatolian part ofİstanbul.The data were analyzed by using SPSS packet program.In this observation, the differences of the teachers? attiudes against the dicipline problems inworkshop conditions were observed related with gender, field, grade, total number of thestudents of the class and class weekly program. The data in this observation were collected bythe behaviours that break the discipline questionaire and suggestion questionaire and thequestionaire were done with the teachers face to face and when needed,the explanation wasdone to them.The questionaire is composed of two parts. The part which includes 18questions about indisciplined behaviours in workshops and the other part which includes 31questions about suggestions to stop these indisci plined behaviours. The questionaire totalyincludes 49 questions.The behaviours that break the discipline in workshops include 4 sub -factors.Suggestionquestionaire which was used in observation about stopping the behaviours that break thediscipline includes 5 sub-factors. Datas were commented by doing Scheffe Test, Anova (one -way variance analyze),T test and Percentage(%)In condusion; the behaviours questionaire that break the discipline in workshops andsuggestion questionaire which is to stop these mi sbehaviours showed us meaningfuldifferences in some attitudes and suggestions among the teachers.It is thought that these differences display us that the teachers have different opinions on thesebehaviours. Also the field of the teacher and grade can be seen as a reason for having differentopininions on these misbehaviours.
