Responsibilty and proficiency of the directors in managing students vocational field preferences

This study has been done to define the duty and competency of the supervisors in charge of orientation of the preferences of the 10th grade students of the Industrial Vocational Highschool and Girls? Technical and Vocational Highschool which is in the boundary of the Centeral District and Luleburgaz of the province of Kirklareli. The samples of this research was formed by 426 students of the 10th grade students of the Industrial Vocational Highschool and Girls? Technical and Vocational Highschool of Central and Luleburgaz districts of the Province of Kirklareli in the academic year 2012-2013. Questionaries have been used to gather datas.The arithmetic mean and the standard deviations of the subfactors of the scales have been determined to define the duties and competency levels of the supervisors of the students who are in the course of field determination.It has been tested that whether the results obtained by usage of the scales show variations according to variables - gender of the students, school type in which students have been trained , educational and profession status of students? parents, total income of the family and parents? involvement to the students? proficiency determination. Whereas some statistically meaningful differences among the subgroups of of the demographic variables have been observed, no differenchave been obtained among the other subgroups.
