The determined of the managers' cultural buildings at vocational secondary education schools

The aim of the research is to determine the administrative and cultural values of the school administrators working in vocational mass education schools in secondary education institutes, and determine the variability of these values depending on variables like age, sex, length of service, and title.The domain of the research consisted of administrators working in vocational schools in the European side of Istanbul city, and the sample consisted of 100 administrators chosen from these schools by random sampling method. To obtain data about identity of the school administrators, an identity information form was used, and validity and reliability works were made. ?The Scale of Administrative and Cultural Values Adopted by Administrators? was used in the research. There are 30 items in the scale, which 9 of them were opposite sided. A Likert scale with 5 points is used in the answers.The responses obtained from ?The Scale of Administrative and Cultural Values Adopted by Administrators? were processed into SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) statistical package program. To check the goodness of fit of the obtained data to normal distribution, Kolmogorov Smirnow Goodness-of-Fit Test was made, and the data were found within the normal distribution curve (Kolmogorov ? Smirnow Z=1.16, p>0.05). Parametric tests were used, because the distribution was normal. In the analysis of the data, independent group t-test was used for binary groups (gender, status) in 0.05 significance level, and variance analysis test was used for multiple groups (length of service, age, educational status).Keywords: Cultural Values, Organizational Structure, Administrative Structure, Administrators, Vocational Schools
