Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to reveal the views of vice coordinator principals working in Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools regarding their workload and the effects of this workload on both their school and out-of-school lives. The opinions of vice coordinator principals working in Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools on this issue were examined. For this purpose, the opinions of 17 vice coordinator principals who worked in vocational high schools in three central districts of Antalya province (Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı, Kepez) were consulted on a voluntary basis. It was determined that the majority of the vice coordinator principals participating in the study, 7 of whom were female and 12 of whom were male, were undergraduate graduates. In this context, a semi-structured interview form consisting of 8 questions was applied to the vice coordinator principals who voluntarily participated in the study. The data obtained from these interview forms were analyzed using content and descriptive analysis techniques. A holistic single case design was used in the study. According to the results of the study, it was identified that the work and operations that the deputy coordinator principals are responsible for during working hours are very tiring both in terms of time and labor force. The difficulties that cause the reason for the workload and the difficulties experienced by the deputy coordinator managers while performing their professions have been determined and are given in detail in the research. Some of these difficulties are as follows; administrative fines from the SSI, paperwork that must be completed within a month, work and transactions in the enterprises where students are interned. As a result of these difficulties, it was found that the vice coordinator principals worked more intensively than other vice principals by going out of working hours or during the summer vacation. As a result of all these findings, it was found that the social and work-school lives of deputy coordinating principals were negatively affected.
