Technical teachers impact on the motivation of the students in the technical and industrial profession high schools

Abstract (EN)

In order to motivate the students the teachers should meet their needs, provide a suitable education atmosphere with verbal and non-verbal messages. By this research it is aimed to assign the opinions of students in industrial profession and technical high schools related with the impact of technical teachers behaviours on their motivation. In this research which was made as a survey model has been effected on 600 students in 7 industrial profession and technical high schools in Anatolian side of İstanbul in winter semester of 2008-2009 education year.According to the result of this research is found a positive connection between the necessity for security, respect, sociality ,the body language of teacher and the motivation of the student .Besides it was proved that the motivation related with the appereance of the female students is higher than male students, the internal motivation decreases when the level of the class increases and the students both in technical and industrial profession high schools are effected by the teachers in same grade.Key Words: Student Motivation, Body Language, İnternal Motivation, External Motivation, Necessity for Security Necessary, Respect and Sociality
