The concept of politics in peripatetic philosophy

The thesis entitled "The Concept of Politics in Peripatetic Philosophy" consists of two parts in addition to the Introduction and the conclusion sections. In the first part, politics, political science and political philosophy are defined. The concept of politics is mentioned in Ancient Greek philosophy and Islamic thought in order to form the ground of the issue. In the second part, al-Farabi, Avicenna and Averroes's political philosophies are described in outline. The nature of the concept of politics and the limits of what is politically are debicted according to these philosophers.Then, the esoteric review of Islamic political philosophy is evaluated and classical conception of politics is compared with modern politics.
