Evaluation of the lower urinary tract symptoms and sexual function in women with metabolic syndrome

Abstract (EN)
Introduction; The aim of this study is to corralate the sexual function evaluation and lower urinary tract symptoms and lower urinary tract symptoms of premenopausal women who has metabolic syndrome with healty premenopausal women. Material method; There are 34 over the age 18 premenopausal patient and 30 healty people in this study.All of this people answered the questionnaries FSFI,UDI-6,IIQ-7 the scores of both group are statistically analised. Results;The mean age of the patient group was 40.50 and control group was 38.17(p=0,09).The scores of FSFI, UDI-6 and IIQ-7 forms in patient and control group are 17.38, 6.27, 6.38 and 26.20, 2.47, 3.38. As a result we found that when corralate women with metabolic syndrome with the control group using UDI-6, IIQ-7, FSFI and FSFI sub-scales , scores statistically significant differences are seen in all scores other than IIQ-7 and FSFI pain scales. All of these datas show that metabolic syndrome effects sexual functions and lowe urinary system functions in bad way.
