Abstract (EN)

In the metal production sector so much industrial injuries have occurred. The sector's manufacturing technologies especially welding, grinding, heat treatment and casting etc. have many dangers at applying these techniques and they increase accident risk. At the workplace environment noise, vibration, harmful rays, gases and metal powders which hang in the air are main factors that affect human health negatively. To create a healthy and safe workplace risk definitions must be done correctly and necessary protecting and inhibiting precautions must be taken by results of risk evaluations. Therefore at this study, the occupational health and safety risks at metal production sector are graded with a decision making method that has too many criterion (Analytical Hierarchy Process-AHP) and we defined that which risks must be priority. In this study, 5 risk analyses in the metal production sector are examined and the risks are grouped at 5 main factors and 18 sub factors. A survey question form is applied on 12 expert to take their opinion and they pointed with comparing these factors by 1-9 scale. These points calculating with Expert Choice software to find main factor/sub factor ratios. The result of factor ratios and related firm's points are multiplied to find global points of main and sub factor's risks and risk level of 5 firms are counted. The risks of main factor ratio %29.3 which is "Safety-Security" and at sub factor ratio %49 which is "Periodic Health Checks" are came forward. At total global points of main factors with firms "Education" has 1375.80 points and that is first one. At evaluations of the firms which apply cutting tool manufacturing, chip producing, grinding and heat treatment has 1103.09 global points are found so this firm is determined the upper risky firm. Keywords: Metal production, risk analysis, AHP.
