Abstract (EN)
As a result of technological developments in today's world, production continues to meet the needs of people and many risks are faced. As a result of the increase in work accidents and occupational diseases in parallel with technological developments, it is seen that Occupational health and safety and healthy working conditions are important in working life. One of the sectors that contribute to our country's economy and employment is the metal industry. In addition, the metal sector is one of the sectors with high risk due to the fact that it contains a wide variety of hazards and risks. For the metal industry, which is such a valuable and important sector, when we examine the researches carried out for the control step, one of the stages in the Occupational Health and Safety cycle that requires step-by-step planning, implementation, control and action according to the results, it has been seen that the latest data of 2016 were mentioned until 2017 - The article has been written with up-to-date data, as I think that not examining the data of the year 2020 is a defect in terms of continuous improvement, and since I am an expert and employee in this sector. In this study; In the first stage, the analysis of the statistics of occupational accidents resulting in death in the metal sector in the EU Member States and our country between the years 2010-2020 was examined, and the data and statistics of occupational accidents in the European states and in our country were compared. The eleven-year data covering the years 2010-2020, which was created by combining the numbers of work accidents, injuries and deaths with the annual data of the SGK and the tables and data made by calculating the previous years, were tabulated and examined with graphics.
